An ok order but not for the beginner
This list has a well written chapter on the economics of foreign exchange. This books' chapters on e-foreign exchange and innovations in e-fx are to a certain extent useless for the beginner and also outdated. The chapters on industrial analysis and the individual trainer are short and to the point. It's assets c incriminating evidence information but not enough 'meat' to assist the individual to abscond better trades. More or the same information can be institute in other books that also explain in more details. There are divers chapters that are mainly written for large institutional traders which I didnt perceive very useful other than getting a 'birds-eye' outlook from their position. In my opinion, this libretto is more for intermediate traders but I wouldn't recommend it to beginners.

The one FX lyrics to grab when you need to know it all!
After reading wellnigh 50 books on the Forex Market and trading the markets finish for a few years, I decided that Ms. Taylor's Mastering Foreign Exchange and Currency Options: A Everyday Guide to the New Marketplace is the one Forex Book I would burlesque with me if forced to select one. Why? Because it is the only list to somehow comprehensively cover topics as diverse as Currenex, the industriousness of Technical Analysis to FX, Buy Side vs. Sell Side FX Distributor dynamics, Corporate Treasury Hedging, and of course a properly essential history of both the economics of foreign exchange and the fundamentals applicable to trading it. The book is only 380 pages and most certainly does intersect the needs of entry level traders. Intermediate traders or professionals drive certainly find topics covered which stimulus an occasional: " I didn't know that !". Again, Ms. Taylor has inclined us the essentials of both the theoretical dimensions of Foreign Exchange pricing both Whiteheads, Futures, and Options AND the nitty,...

Raze of time
Claims to be a pragmatic guide but is padded out with useless chapters on news and economics. The chapters on practical topics come extraordinarily late in the book and are by comparision very short and skimpy in explanations. Almost no coverage of operational topics, so "usable" only in the front office sense and I have organize better material for free on google.

Rectitude basics, but miss a HUGE point
Let me be square-shooting here: This book provides some exceedingly good advice about trading the forex vend. Which currencies have what tendencies, which times and reports to look out for, how to conduct trades and money, etc. It provides the basics for any beginner. But, if you are a beginner, you wish NOT notice something EXTREMELY important that the authors of this volume did not mention ON PURPOSE. The authors, in full disclosure, grandeur they are associated with [...](i.e. Gain Brill). And while in the book they make it non-standard like that since [...] is part of/is a(n) FCM/CFTC/NFA (basically throwing out terms to a beginner to amount to it seem safe and legit), the author's on purpose do not in that [...]is NOT an ECN broker, and hence you'd think that with all those acronyms they'd be credible, but make up otherwise. In real short, what this means is that if you are not an ECN intermediary, you are allowed to, and most disclose in very fine wording hidden among pages of other details they...

Overwhelm Beginner Book on FX Trading Currently on the Market
Complete, I thought this book gives a great overview on how and when the Interbank FX retail operates, a basic overview of technical analysis, and some serviceable tips on practical matters of trading like how to elect a broker/platform and what to consider when milieu up a trade. Having traded the Forex market for to the ground 2 years now and having read a number of books peculiar to to Forex trading, I think this book is the superb book geared toward novice traders currently convenient. However, I felt this book could procure done better in a few areas: it walks you through considerations to fabricate a trading plan but doesn't provide a detailed warning of one (preferably the authors'). This book as a matter of fact walks through a trade set up (shorting the USD/JPY) and details the things to mull over, but it was picked seemingly at random (based on a double doji) and not from some retreat from tested trading methodology. First-class Forex Trading Book Period!!!!!!!
I rationality this book would be typical nuts and bolts list.I was soooo wrong. This book is a book of scheme,fundamentals,mental game and a lot more. If you are just starting or a long-serving purchase this book... It gives you those jewels that you understand and wonder," where that come from?". The incriminate in section is the best. So many traders are always tough out the new indicator. Truth be told they all are the same. Your all-embracing package as a trader is what makes you profitable, not 50 pathetic averages crossing. I hope I helped someone to compel a proper choice in a great overall book on Forex. Forex is the most superbly market out here period, but the books and information ready are lacking real substance. Do not let the title fool you. This rules is written by owners of Forex brokerages. They orate nothing back. This book is for dummies and pros a like.

Exceptional book on currency trading
I oblige spent 20 years researching and trading stocks and bonds, and was interested in currency trading. I purchased a many of books on foreign exchange. I read this book first, Essentials of Foreign Exchange Trading, and I institute it an excellent choice. It has also been a good fellow to my experimentation and trading on one of the major FX trading websites. It starts off with a right introduction to the principles of currency trading and includes a discussion of a wide-ranging range of trading approaches to help understand which superlative fit your personality and style. The chapters that nosedive in on technical analysis (using candlesticks, moving averages, fibonacci/fulcrum point, elliott wave) are especially good; it is unmistakably the author's specialty. That was good for me since my credentials is in fundamental analysis and the author's treatment of technical opinion was comprehensive and helpful. Serious read - definitely recommend it
I traded forex a twosome of years ago and I've just gotten back into it recently. Got this list right when it came out because I've been following the inventor's daily currencies analysis and attended a few of the webinars he gives. From the subhead of the book I was thinking that it might be a bit basic for me since I've traded forex euphonious extensively before. But it's turning out to be extremely helpful because it has a lot of in the final analysis useful strategies and techniques. The book pretty much goes all the way from beginner to advanced and explains the aggregate really thoroughly and clearly. I have two other books on forex trading that I bought in the last, but this one is by far the most complete and useful one. For me, chapter 5 on forex trading methods and strategies was one of the most encompassing descriptions of trading strategies that I've seen. Also in actuality liked the technical analysis chapter. Definitely promote this book.

A tasteful introduction, but with a few flaws
I'm a bit diverse on Essentials of Foreign Exchange Trading. In terms of a basic overview and kind of the retail forex market I think it does a cute good job. Chen covers all the bases from a pr overview of how we got to where we are in terms of market structure, the basics of forex pricing and trading mechanics, and overviews of specialized and fundamental analysis. This is something you would certainly envisage from someone who works for a broker. There are also a platoon of different trading strategies discussed. That ranges from the numerous timeframes (day, swing, position) to the broad styles of trading (shift, range), and incorporates some of the methodologies (breakouts, map patterns, Fibonacci, pivot points, Elliott Move to, etc.) as well as discussions of topics like carry and information trading. While some basic strategies are introduced, this is not the keyboard of book which outlines a specific strategy or set of strategies. In place of it provides an overview of the...
