Benevolent Introduction to Position Trading
Let me first aver -- this is not a book for day traders! Although there are chapters on both wave and day trading, the authors concentrate on position trading. Therefore, they include several chapters on fundamental dissection and focus on slower signalling indicators. Now, that's out of the way...The reserve is well-written, with the not-too-serious yet informative make that hallmarks a good "Dummies" book. The organisation is top rung, and the authors re-iterate tactics they have once upon a time covered when doing so provides a good lore example. There is a limited amount of technical criticism, with the primary focus on patterns (breakout and continuation) and plain indicators--moving averages, MACD, relative intensity, e.g.As with most "Dummies" books, you are not by any means an excellent on the topic when you finish. However, I believe the reader, having paid secure attention, will have a good grasp of the concepts he or she desire need to trade, and that this...

Extraordinary foundation for the beginning trader
Trading for Dummies is an peerless book for anyone interested in starting to trade stocks. This log really kept me wanting to read on and on because every split was filled with plenty of information. The way the chapters are arranged were hugely good in that you don't have to be going back and forth to informed the whole concept. One thing I noticed was that this words is for someone who wants to be a position trader as opposed to a day broker, which is good because that is what I after to do. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about how the cattle market works, this book is an excellent present. Overall I give it the full five stars.

Fantabulous Introduction
IMHO The purpose the "for dummies" brand has been successfull aside from the catchy delegate, is the actual content and material of the books themselves.This paperback has been a great read for some one like myself that already had an position of what investing entails, but that does not avert total beginners with no idea from gaining an staggering amount of great information from this hard-cover.It is written in plain language and is a great place for a beginner to start his cruise.

A knavish sales plug for PFG Inc., NOT a trading book
Do not destroy your time and money. The "authors" (much a stately word for the compilers of this mismatched and unfocused confound of trivial materials) are the owners of PFG Inc., and the obvious purpose of this laws is to get your business. Their main tactics are: a) The changeless description of all conceivable risks associated with agent selection, the implication being that they (PFG Inc.) are the no-danger choice. b)Four chapters grinding the theme of how precarious is to do it on your own (chapter 2: "What you don't certain may hurt you", chapter 4: "Client beware, be very aware", chapter 5: "Are you provisional to invest in Forex?" and chapter 9: "The volatile question of risk, risk, risk ...") and one (chapter 7) where they tie it all outstanding you to the grand conclusion: use the services of Currency Investment Managers! Not equitable
I from been trading futures and options for 11 years. I partake of written three books on the subject. This is the worst criterion of authoring that I have ever seen. There are no true insights into the subject of Foreign Currency Trading. Mr.Wasendorf fails dismally at being intention and goes overboard in promoting his company PFG. I was sorely unsatisfied. I was really looking forward to additional insight into Unknown Currency Trading.

safeguard your money ...
... I take no idea what objective these guys had in take care of when they sat down to write this paperback.... This book is just a bunch of dirt thrown together (probably downloaded from the internet) and they simply took no time to put any real effort into this post. I was terribly dissappointed with my purchase of this laws.....look elsewhere if you are interested in getting started in forex trading.
