Mastering the Commerce
I like John Carter - I like him a lot. But there were some disappointments for me in this list. Namely, several chapters are of little or no use without proprietary indicators and downloads. Repetitiously throughout the book, Carter casually refers the reader to his website but nowhere does he speak that they are very, very expensive. The indicators are typically $400 to $500 each - you can buy a unite of them for $1500 to $2000 - and the downloads require you to countersign up for an expensive subscription to one of his website trading products. I still like Carter but, in my judgement, his credibility suffered a bit from these omissions.

One of the master!!!
There are at least 10,000 trading books out there. I positive because I have probably read half of them. I also rely upon I have learned something from every one of them. Most of the books are like Doctors, they specialize in one extent or another. This book, "Mastering The Trade" is multifarious. Its the "General Practioner" that really knows what he is doing.John Carter in actuality covers enough ground to help a trader get productive. He covers all areas of trading - hardware, software, psychology, focal mechanics of markets, and most importantly a traders question plan. Just those items alone more than be enough the cost of this book, but then he also adds nearby a dozen market set-ups. Mr Carter does not just make clear one or two of each set-up like most books, he shows dozens of each warning. Insignificant editing but a great book
Okay, earliest some background: I am new to trading forex but have been trading stocks and options for from 5 years. Aspects of the forex market are very intriguing (24 hour trading, a unimaginative 'universe' of currencies to watch vs. thousands of stocks/options, leverage, etc.) so I was looking for a log that would tell me more about the forex sell and provide a good foundation to trade successfully.Let me state from the start that the editing indeed leaves much to be desired. Typos, letters or spaces communistic out and smallish charts that forces one to bring out a magnifying opera-glasses at times. But none of this has anything to do with the value of the gratification of the book. Anyone dismissing this book altogether due to editing are 'missing the forest for the trees,' as the saying goes. But the stripling editing blunders are unfortunate and are the reason for only 4 stars in lieu of of 5.Content pros: a) Very bite-sized chapters daily help encapsulate topics nicely. You...

Muddled Review of Horner's "Forex Trading for Maximum Profit"
After all of the hype that I infer from surrounding this book, I was pretty disappointed with its import. The charts too small to be read easily, and the spelling and punctuation errors were more than I cared for.The earmark does give a brief overview of the Forex market, but I was hoping for something more. The prime mover does do a good job of describing her method of trading the market. I sine qua non admit that while I was reading the book, I was thoughtful that her methods seemed just too simple to be shit. However, the day after I finished reading the book, I establish and successfully traded both a swing trade and a thrust trade using her techniques. The results were a capture of 30 pips on the swing trade and 75 pips on the power trade! This book has definitely given me another way to look for trades and I require continue to follow her "Three-Step Setup".

Classic vs. simplistic
Original traders have different styles. Some yen a zillion confirming indicators before placing a employment, some prefer playing with indicators to trading, and some indulge in the creativity of finding the "holy grail" system.Personally, I've never base anything that beats good ole support and guerrilla, trendlines, and entering the "zone" by watching candlesticks codify and candlestick formations. I pay my bills with Forex, and I trade against the indicators only slightly less often than I trade with them. I many times forget to look at them at all because I'm focused on what is episode with the ... New Trading Dimension
The 1st 2 chapters are pretty of ramble where the author describes the "metaphysics" of trading. Stillness some good ideas are offered. The book references formlessness theory, and leaves it up to the reader to believe whether "supercomputers" were utilized in formulating the various trading methods (the author wants to take place across as an applied mathemetician, but he sure looks like a breeding trader to me). There isn't any obvious connection with Pandemonium Theory - but let's be honest: what would we really do with it if it was there?I convey the book 5 stars, and I'd give it 10 if they were elbow. The reason is that despite the weak link between the ownership and content, the trading methodologies do work. Both in backtestng and in 2 months actual time, I've found the author's systems to be a perfect exclude and trigger for a short term trading system. Payable Methodology
The libretto walks you step by step on how and what to look for when using Dr. Williams methodology. He reveals all his indicators in the lyrics, so if you can't afford his software/course, you can simply add it to your favorite charting software!After reading some reviews here, I organize found two extremes in regards to both his books. Not ample supply theory of chaos or "just a simple midget trend following system". If you're looking for the scientfic construct of trading chaos, don't get this book. If you felt you've read your divide up of "trend methodology", skip it. Don't improvidence your time and money on this
The trading modus operandi Bill Williams describes in his Book has nothing to do with entropy theory. The whole trading system which he describes in his book is nothing than an outlandish trend following system with the typical drawbacks of swing following systems. It can make money in strong trends but it looses the cold hard cash again in untrending markets. Or it looses the money senior and you can win it back in the next trend if you are not broke by then, depending on which vend comes first.Since the author seems to get a good reputation in the trading community I took the time to programm his system on a Marketing Station and testet it with historical data. Most of the but it looses money and the few wins do not compensate the losses. It is truly not worth the effort. Bill Williams just uses the hype words confusion and fraktal to sell his material. Do not waste your rhythm and money for the book or even worse his discourse or software.
